The pilgrimage women from Landshut have been loyal to the Marists in Furth for 35 years now. This time, a donation of 300 euros was handed over, for which Frater Andreas (on the right in the picture), himself active in the mission in Kenya for over 30 years, and secretary Rita Melzl (on the left in the picture), thanked them with a heartfelt thank you. The donation was presented by the new chairwoman of the Pilgrimage Women’s Association, Ms. Patricia Steinberger (2nd from right) in the presence of the previous chairwoman, Ms. Margit Napf (2nd from left).
According to Frater Andreas, the current donation is to be used again for the two schools in Roo and Orore in Kenya. The challenges in both educational institutions are enormous again this year. Frater Andreas emphasized that it remains a major task for the brothers in Kenya to continue to enable the young people there to receive a good education so that they can permanently improve their living conditions.
A cozy get-together in the brothers’ dining room with coffee and cake rounded off the donation handover.
The Marist Brothers thank you with a heartfelt God bless you!
