Cameroon: Help for Marist mission in Tatum
Our team was able to support the Marist Mission of St Pius X College in Tatum with a donation of €10,000. The project has helped to provide the pupils with school meals. They were also provided with good health and hygiene products and educated by experts on health and hygiene. 300 pupils received rechargeable solar lamps to help them study at home. The boarding school pupils received an emergency power generator to provide them with light in the evenings while they study. In addition, the final-year students were given transport to school, where they were able to take their final exams and their meals were also provided. Important textbooks were also purchased and placed in the library.
The Marist Brothers and the pupils in Tatum would like to express their sincere thanks for the generous help!
