Chad: School attendance for vulnerable children and orphans
With the support of this project totalling €10,200, a great deal could be done for the well-being of children in the province of Mandul and the city of Koumra by enrolling vulnerable children and orphans in school. 70% of the school fees were paid and school materials were purchased. A total of 303 children were positively affected by the donation, including 162 girls and 141 boys who were given the opportunity to attend school for the first time. The overall impact is very positive, as these children, whose parents do not have the necessary resources, would not have had the opportunity to attend school.
Thanks to this project, many young people now have access to education and are therefore able to help themselves in the future.
The Marist Brothers and the pupils in Mandoul and Koumra would like to thank you very much for your generous help!
