Lebanon: Lessons for refugee children

In Lebanon, the two congregations of the Marist Brothers and the LaSalle Brothers are involved in the “Fratelli” project. This was set up in 2017 and enables over 800 refugee children between the ages of 3 and 16 to attend educational institutions and schools at two locations in Rhmeileh and Beirut each year. The disadvantaged people come mainly from the war-ravaged countries of Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.

Our association has already supported the project with €35,000. With this donation amount, the costs are covered in order to be able to keep the school running and to be able to give the children, young people and orphans an orientation for their future life through an education.

Our association urgently needs further donations for the project. We thank you very much with a big “Vergelt’s Gott”.
