The Marienrealschule Cham organised an Advent market before the Christmas holidays. The school was formed in 2021 from the merger of the Gerhardinger secondary school in Cham and the Maristen secondary school. As Headmaster Christian Haringer (on the right in the photo) emphasises, the school wants to donate half of the proceeds to a good cause. The Theresia Gerhardinger Foundation and the “Maristen Solidarität International” association will each receive 600 euros. Maristen Solidarität International will donate the money to the school projects of the Marist Brothers, who are active worldwide, in order to provide disadvantaged children, young people and orphans with an education and thus a better future.
