Venezuela: Humanitarian catastrophe

Due to the dictatorial regime in Venezuela, the country is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis with extreme food and medicine shortages. Children are dying daily from malnutrition and disease.
To counteract this, Marist Brother Diego Anton initiated the “$1 for Breakfast” project in the free Marist schools. With the donations it was possible to offer malnourished and poor children a hot meal every day.

With many donations from home, totaling more than €15,000, the greatest need was alleviated and the project has now been completed.
