With a donation of €300, the Furth Women’s Association is supporting the Marist Solidarity International project to drill a much-needed well at the Bishop Mugendi School in Roo, Kenya. Team representatives Leni Kolbinger, Tanja Scheibl, and Marianne Hübl presented the donation to Chairman Peter Dierl. The existing well, built in 1986, has since silted up and can no longer be repaired. Currently, water must be fetched from a lake about one and a half kilometers away, which places a heavy burden on the local people. Peter Dierl expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Furth Women’s Association and praised the commitment of the women, whose support makes a valuable contribution to improving living conditions and educational opportunities in Kenya.
