The association Maristen Solidarität International (MSI) was pleased to receive a generous donation from the Association of Self-Employed Bavarians, Furth chapter. The chairman of the Furth branch, Josef Schmid, and Anja Spies, who is responsible for the treasury, handed over the donation check in the amount of €850. MSI chairman Peter Dierl and advisory board member Brother Andreas Krupp were very happy about the joyful surprise and emphasized that the donation will be used for the “Fratelli” project in Lebanon. At two locations in Rhmeileh and Beirut, with the participation of the Marist Brothers, more than 800 refugee children are enabled to attend school each year. The disadvantaged people come mainly from the war-torn countries of Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.
